July 29, 2018 - 9:00am - 4:00pm - City Park, Appleton
Each year, Art at the Park, a free community event, draws tens of thousands of visitors! This one-day event is held in historic City Park in downtown Appleton, Wisconsin. The Trout Museum of Art’s 58th Annual Art at the Park will again celebrate the extraordinary talent of nearly 200 participating artists from throughout the country who come to showcase and sell paintings, drawings, sculptures, ceramics, jewelry and more. We thank each artist for sharing their work with the Fox Cities Community and their commitment to this event.
Art at the Park 2018 will also feature musical entertainment, local food vendors, a creative kids art show, kid's creation station and more!
Kids Creation Station: Make your own mosaic picture frame.
Join Artist Carli Ihde in painting a giant Roger Rabbit. Roger Rabbit will be on display at The Trout Museum of Art during Who Framed Roger Rabbit: The Art of Classic American Animation starting in August.
Meet Sparky the Fire Dog: Sparky the Fire Dog will be at Art at the Park from 12:30-2:30pm. Sparky’s a top dog when it comes to fire safety.
Pop-A-Shot Activity: The Wisconsin Herd will be on hand with their pop-a-shot activity. Their mascot “Pointer” will also make a brief appearance at the event!
CALLING ALL ADULTS! For the more mature artists and art appreciators, we will be featuring one of Richeson School of Art & Gallery’s oil painting instructors demonstrating plein air style painting. Interested in trying your hand? We will have plein air easels for people to try out!
