Eye-catching designs, colorful illustrations - art is an important part of helping young readers develop an imagination and brings book characters to life in their minds. Book illustrations aren’t just pretty pictures – they are the visual aids that create memorable characters and help children enter into an imaginative world as they visualize the stories they are reading.
About Family Studio: Drop in to the 5th floor studios at the Fox Cities Building for the Arts/The Trout Museum of Art, from 10:30am-1:00pm, and join professional instructors for a Family Studio Birthday Bash. You and your family will travel into the world of a new children’s book each month. Art projects will be inspired by these books and families will have the opportunity to work together to create a project relating to the theme of the book.
Cost: $5/person, FREE to members and parents who are assisting their children with the project No reservation required, but children must be accompanied by an adult.
