Jeff is a full time representational fine artist working in oils.
Beginning his training with a series of workshops, in 2005 he formalized his training at the Kewaunee Academy of Fine Art. He began teaching and had his work published while still at the Kewaunee Academy. In 2009 he founded the Wisconsin Art League a life drawing group that still meets twice weekly. He’s taught at the Appleton Art Center, Jack Richeson & Company Gallery and currently is an instructor at The Academy of Fine Art in Denmark, Wisconsin.
Jeff has won many regional and national awards including an Award of Excellence at the 2008 Oil Painters of America Eastern Regional Exhibit. He also has many awards including ‘Best of Show’ from the Richeson 75 Shows, several national & local competitions and has been juried into the 18th, 19th , 20th, 21st , 22nd and 23rd Annual Oil Painters of America National Juried Exhibitions.
Jeff has had his work published and he’s had interviews with several magazines, including American Art Collector Magazine.
Join artist Jeff Hargreaves as he demonstrates his figure drawing process from a live model. Artists are welcome to bring supplies and draw along side Jeff. After the demonstration, don't miss the reception for Jeff's exhibit in the Great Northern Regional Artist Gallery starting at 6:00pm.

The GNC Regional Artist Gallery is an extension of The Trout Museum of Art, and is located on the third floor of the Fox Cities Building for the Arts. The gallery features local and regional artists working in all mediums.
The gallery is open during normal museum hours. Admission is free.
